Weber Human Services Area Agency on Aging

Who it's for

Weber Human Services Aging Services is the Area Agency on Aging for Weber and Morgan counties. Weber Human Services was set up by Weber and Morgan County governments. It works to help seniors stay independent, with extra care for frail elders and people with the greatest social and economic needs. Services include Meals on Wheels, senior centers, in-home care, caregiver support, Veteran Directed Care, the MACS/New Choice Waiver, ombudsman advocacy, Medicare counseling and senior volunteer programs. Information and Referral staff help seniors apply for services such as housing, nutrition, transportation, public assistance, the HEAT program, weatherization and Medicare Part D. Weber County seniors 60 and older with no other way to get around can use The RIDE, curb-to-curb Lyft rides to medical visits and grocery shopping. Call WHS Aging Information and Referrals at 801-625-3770.

AAA services are free or donation-based, and some have waiting lists. Most Older Americans Act services start at age 60. Utah Medicaid eligibility is decided by the State of Utah.
