Lee-Russell Public Transit (LRPT) gives free, curb-to-curb on-demand rides to the general public in Auburn, Opelika, and Lee and Russell counties. No doctor's approval is needed. Rides run Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the last pickup is at 5:30 p.m. Call 334-749-9092 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at least one business day ahead (up to two weeks ahead), or book with the LR Rides app.
Service areas, hours, and fares are set by the transit provider; call ahead to schedule and ask about senior or disability fares.
