How to apply for SenioRx — free or low-cost prescription drugs

Who it's for
SenioRx helps Alabamians get free or low-cost prescription medicines from drug companies' patient assistance programs. Eligible people may get a three-month supply at a time, with refills while they stay eligible. You can qualify if you are 55 or older, have a chronic medical condition, have no or limited prescription drug insurance, and meet income limits. People of any age with a disability can also qualify, including people who have applied for Social Security disability and are waiting for a decision or are in the 24-month Medicare waiting period. Call your local Area Agency on Aging at 1-800-AGE-LINE (1-800-243-5463).
The page does not print the income limits; the local Area Agency on Aging checks income and insurance. Medicines come from drug company assistance programs, and not every drug is available.
