How to apply for Arizona Family Caregiver Support Program
Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Aging and Adult Services — delivered through the Area Agencies on Aging
Who it's for
This program helps family and unpaid caregivers with information, help getting services, individual counseling, support groups, caregiver training, respite care, and limited supplemental services. It serves caregivers age 18+ caring for someone 60 or older (or any age with Alzheimer's/dementia), and older relatives age 55+ raising children or caring for an adult with a disability. Contact your local Area Agency on Aging or the Arizona Caregiver Resource Line.
No income test, but services are delivered locally by the Area Agencies on Aging and supplemental services are limited (and may have waitlists). The program supports the caregiver (including respite so they can rest). Confirm what's available with your local Area Agency on Aging.
