How to apply for SunTran Senior Reduced Fare (Marion County)

Who it's for

SunTran is the Ocala-Marion County public fixed-route bus system, operated by the City of Ocala on behalf of Marion County residents. SunTran serves Ocala and the immediately surrounding urban corridor. The standard adult cash fare is $1.50; riders age 65 and older qualify for a reduced fare with proof of age at the farebox. The reduced-fare category also covers students, individuals with disabilities, and veterans, and discounted multi-ride passes are also available at the reduced rate. To use the reduced fare, present a government-issued photo ID showing age 65+ (Florida driver's license, Florida ID, Medicare card, or U.S. passport). For frequent riders, a SunTran reduced-fare pass can be purchased at the City of Ocala office. Customer service is available through the SunTran website at ocalafl.org/suntran or by contacting the City of Ocala directly.
