Who it's for

SHOW BUS is the public transportation for rural Kankakee County, outside the River Valley Metro bus area. Buses run set routes on set days from towns like Hopkins Park, St. Anne, Momence, Herscher, Manteno and Grant Park into Kankakee, and there is hourly service between Kankakee and Momence. Anyone can ride, and all buses are wheelchair accessible. The regular round-trip fare is $4.00, but riders 60 and older do not have to pay the fare because of a federal grant through AgeGuide; a donation is welcome. Call SHOW BUS at 1-800-525-2454 by noon on the weekday before your trip to reserve a ride.

Rural Kankakee County service on scheduled days; some routes are paused because of a driver shortage. Reserve by noon on the weekday before you ride. Inside the Kankakee-Bradley-Bourbonnais-Manteno bus area, River Valley Metro is the local bus.
