The Winn Council on Aging gives demand-response rides to older adults and people with disabilities in Winn Parish, and to the public when seats are open. It is the parish's only transportation besides non-emergency medical transport. Rides run 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. Older adults are asked for a contribution; the public fare is $10.00 to $15.00. Call 318-628-2186.
