Who it's for
Mackinac County Transportation runs a demand-response dial-a-ride car service across Mackinac County for rides to medical appointments, errands, and community life. Dispatch is at the Chippewa-Luce-Mackinac Community Action building in St. Ignace. Seniors and riders with disabilities can use the service; call dispatch at 906-643-6746, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays, to schedule a ride.
Demand-response service is open to county residents; seniors and people with disabilities are primary riders. Confirm the qualifying senior age and fares with dispatch. No weekend, holiday, or inclement-weather service. Not legal or financial advice.
