Who it's for
OATS Transit serves Marion County with OATS Transit is a shared-ride, demand-response public transportation service covering 87 rural Missouri counties. Reservations are taken 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (next-day service must be requested by 1:00 pm). Fares are paid in advance by card or by adding funds to a rider account; drivers do not accept payment on the bus. Marion County routes: Hannibal In-Town Monday-Friday, and service from anywhere in Marion County to Hannibal Tuesday and Thursday. Fares $2.00 in-town / $3.00 county service. InterCity routes: Hwys 61, 36 & 24 to Columbia every Thursday; Quincy, IL on the 2nd & 4th Thursday; St. Louis Wednesday and Friday ($10 round trip, appointments 10am-2pm). Pickup points: Hannibal (Dirt Cheap, Hwy 61 Huck Finn Shopping Center) and Palmyra (Wendy's).. Older adults and people with disabilities can use these services for medical appointments, shopping, and other essential trips. Rides are free or low-cost depending on the service.
