Choanoke Public Transportation Authority (CPTA) provides door-to-door rides for Halifax County residents to medical appointments, dialysis, senior nutrition sites, shopping, and human-service agencies. Older adults (60+) and people with disabilities are a priority group, and the Halifax County Council on Aging also coordinates senior transportation.
