Who it's for
Jump Around Carson (JAC) buses charge a reduced fare of $0.75 for seniors, youth, people with disabilities, and military, and Medicare cards are accepted for the reduced fare. Seniors age 60 or older can ride the regular fixed-route buses free by registering for the Senior Bus Pass Program at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive. JAC Assist is door-to-door or curb-to-curb paratransit for people with disabilities who cannot use the regular bus; trips cost $3 or $6 and riders must apply and be certified. Call JAC at 775-841-7433.
