Who it's for
Esmeralda County runs a senior transportation program with scheduled rides from Goldfield, Silver Peak and Fish Lake Valley to Tonopah, and from Fish Lake Valley to Bishop. Long-distance medical trips and nutritional shopping trips go to Pahrump, Las Vegas, Bishop and Reno on set days. Riders pay a suggested donation, and seniors over 60 are not required to make a donation. For example, the Goldfield to Tonopah donation is $2.00 for people 60 plus and $3.00 for people 59 and under. Call 775-485-3406 to schedule a ride.
Schedules and suggested donations are set by the Esmeralda County Commissioners and all trips are subject to change; call ahead to confirm.
