Who it's for

Nye County Health & Human Services helps eligible people pay for medical and health care needs through its Medical Indigent Program. For people who qualify, the county will pay for inpatient medical care, emergency room treatment at facilities within Nye County, and certain pre-authorized outpatient procedures when funding is available. Other payers such as Medicaid, Medicare and insurance are used first. The program does not provide ongoing medical coverage and does not pay doctor fees or co-pays.
