Baker County Public Transit, run by Community Connection of Northeast Oregon, offers Dial-A-Ride service for anyone inside the Baker City limits, and it is now fare-free. Rides run Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Thursday 10:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; on Tuesdays and Thursdays the route starts and ends in the outlying rural communities. Vehicles are wheelchair accessible. Call at least one day (24 hours) ahead at 541-523-7433.
