Allegheny CAO delivers PA LIHEAP (Cash + Crisis + Crisis Interface) for Allegheny County residents. Same eligibility as the state program (~150% FPL). Apply through the Allegheny CAO office, at COMPASS (compass.state.pa.us), or by calling 412-565-2146. Seniors age 60+ may also apply through Allegheny AAA (412-350-5460) for priority processing. Application window typically November-April. SW PA winter heating demand is among the highest in PA — apply early in the season.
