How to apply for MyRide TN — Volunteer Senior Transportation
Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability (TCAD) network — delivered by local MyRide TN provider organizations
Who it's for
MyRide TN is a senior-friendly volunteer transportation service. Screened, trained volunteer drivers use their personal vehicles to provide door-through-door rides to destinations such as medical appointments and grocery stores. Rides run Monday–Friday, with priority for doctor appointments. Riders are age 60 or older, live independently and walk independently (or with a walker or cane), and do not drive. MyRide is a membership program — each local program sets its own membership fee and per-ride cost. Local programs operate in participating counties across West, Middle, and East Tennessee (the state page lists each program and its phone number); call 1-866-836-6678 to find transportation assistance in your area.
Available only where a local MyRide TN program operates — the state page lists each program, its counties, and its phone number. Riders must live and walk independently (walker or cane is fine) and not drive; to date Knox County is the only area serving riders who use wheelchairs. Each program sets its own membership fee and per-ride cost.
