Midland Memorial Hospital is operated by the Midland County Hospital District — providing the most generous TX-modeled charity care tier structure in the Permian Basin. Charity Care is granted to applicants at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Level (FPIL) for emergency and medically necessary inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. Applicants between 200% and 400% FPL qualify for additional discounted care (CMD). Out-of-county applicants receive financial assistance for emergency services only. Uninsured Midland County applicants eligible for Charity Care receive prescriptions with co-pays beginning at $5/prescription up to $15/prescription.
