How to apply for Free VA claims help from Utah Veteran Service Officers (UDVMA)

Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs (UDVMA)

Who it's for

The Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs offers free help to veterans and their family members with claims, applications, and appeals to the VA, such as disability compensation, pension, and Aid and Attendance. Its Veteran Service Officers are trained and accredited by the VA to represent Utah veterans when filing claims and during appeals. You can meet with a Veteran Service Officer in person, by phone, or by video. Find a regional office or call the main office at 801-326-2372. Accredited representatives from Disabled American Veterans (801-326-2375), the American Legion (801-326-2380), and Veterans of Foreign Wars (801-326-2385) can also help.

Help is free. A Veteran Service Officer helps prepare and file the claim, but the VA decides the claim and any benefit amount.
