How eligibility is decided

Every match is decided by hand-coded rules taken from official program sources — income limits, age requirements, residency. AI never decides eligibility; it only explains the rule-based result in plain English.

Each program links to its official source — usually a .gov page — and shows a "Last verified" date. Rules are monitored for changes, and when a program's limits change, affected users see an alert.

The trade-off is honesty about limits: results are estimates based on the answers given. Missing or incorrect answers change the results, and the agency always makes the final decision.

Not legal or financial advice. The agency makes the final eligibility decision.
