Understand your results
Results are grouped by how strong the match looks, based only on the answers given and each program's published rules.
The match labels
"Likely qualifies" — the answers meet every rule the program publishes. "May qualify" — most rules match but something is borderline or unknown. "Eligible in the future" — an age or timing rule isn't met yet. "Needs more information" — a question was skipped that the program depends on. "Probably not a fit right now" — a required rule isn't met.
The agency always makes the final decision. A strong match here means applying is worth the time — not that approval is guaranteed.

Dollar estimates and sources
Estimates come from each program's published figures — the same documents linked under "Official source". A range like "$980–$5,180/yr" reflects how much the benefit varies by household. "Estimated for your household" means the figure was computed from the answers given.
Every program card shows a "Last verified" date — when the program's rules were last checked against the official source.
- "Do these first" ranks the strongest matches by value and ease — start at the top.

Not legal or financial advice. The agency makes the final eligibility decision.
