How to apply for AC Transit Senior Reduced Fare (Contra Costa County)

Who it's for

AC Transit offers a Senior/Disabled discount fare to riders 65 and older on its bus service across Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Seniors receive 50% off adult single-ride fares; the Senior/Disabled Monthly Pass caps at $37.50. The discount is accessed using a Senior Clipper card, which seniors can apply for online at clippercard.com or in person at AC Transit's Customer Service Center. When paying with cash on board, seniors should be prepared to show identification proving age. This card replaces the older RTC monthly sticker program for seniors.
