How to apply for County Connection LINK Paratransit (Contra Costa County)

Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (County Connection / CCCTA)

Who it's for

County Connection LINK is the ADA complementary paratransit service for central Contra Costa County, provided by CCCTA for people whose disability or health condition prevents them from independently using the regular County Connection buses or BART trains for some or all trips. Eligibility is functional, not age-based; you complete an ADA application and may receive a follow-up phone call for additional information. Determinations are unconditional (full) or conditional, and are granted for up to three years; you are notified about three months before your eligibility expires. Request an application by calling 925-680-2138 or download it from the County Connection paratransit page; trip reservations after certification go through 925-938-RIDE.

ADA paratransit eligibility for County Connection LINK is functional and is determined by CCCTA through a written application and (often) a follow-up phone interview — the scan cannot perform that evaluation. The service area is limited to where County Connection and BART provide regular service in central Contra Costa County. Request an application by calling 1-925-680-2138 or downloading it from countyconnection.com/paratransit.
