How to apply for Humboldt Transit Authority Senior Reduced Fare

Humboldt Transit Authority (HTA)

Who it's for

Humboldt Transit Authority (HTA) operates the Redwood Transit System and related public bus services across Humboldt County (Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Fortuna, and the Highway 101 corridor). Riders age 62 and older qualify for the senior reduced fare — an earlier age threshold than the typical 65+ standard. Youth ages 3-17 and people with a disabled-person Transit ID card also pay the reduced fare. To apply for an HTA reduced-fare ID, contact the HTA office at 133 V Street, Eureka, or call 1-707-443-0826.
