How to apply for MST RIDES ADA Paratransit (Monterey County)
Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST)
Who it's for
MST RIDES is the ADA complementary paratransit service for people whose disability prevents them from using MST's regular fixed-route buses. The service covers the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Salinas, Chualar, Gonzales, Greenfield, Soledad, and King City, plus the Watsonville Transit Center connection. Eligibility is functional, not age-based. To apply, complete the two-part application — one form for you and one for your California-licensed health care provider — and mail it to MST ADA Paratransit Service at 15 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, CA 93901. In-person interviews are held at the Mobility Services Center at the same address. For questions, call a Mobility Specialist at 1-831-264-5869.
MST RIDES eligibility is functional (disability that prevents independent use of MST fixed-route service) and requires a two-part application — one form for you, one for your California-licensed health care provider — plus a possible in-person interview at the Mobility Services Center, 15 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas. The scan cannot perform that assessment. Start by calling 1-831-264-5869.
