How to apply for Runabout ADA Paratransit (San Luis Obispo County)

San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA)

Who it's for

Runabout is RTA's ADA complementary paratransit service — the countywide ADA paratransit provider for all fixed-route systems in SLO County. Eligibility is functional, not age-based, and certified to ADA standards. To qualify, all new applicants must complete an application and have an in-person interview. To obtain an application or learn more, call 1-805-781-4833; for general RTA questions about specialized transit call 1-805-541-2544.

Runabout eligibility is functional (disability that prevents independent use of SLO RTA fixed-route service) and requires an in-person ADA interview — this check cannot perform that assessment. Request an application by calling 1-805-781-4833.
