Who it's for
The Old Age Pension gives monthly cash help to Colorado residents 60 and older with low income. The 2026 grant standard is $1,032 a month; other income such as Social Security lowers the payment. Resources must be $2,000 or less for an unmarried person or $3,000 for a married person. People on OAP can also get medical coverage. Apply online through Colorado PEAK or at your county human services office.
The $1,032 grant standard is per person; your payment is $1,032 minus your countable income. You must apply for any other income you can get (such as Social Security). The county human services office makes the final decision.
