How to apply for Weatherization Assistance Program — Washington

Washington State Department of Commerce, through local weatherization agencies

Who it's for

Washington's Weatherization Assistance Program makes home energy-saving improvements for income-eligible homeowners and renters — insulation, air sealing, and related repairs that lower utility bills. Households qualify with income up to 200% of the federal poverty level, 60% of the state median income, or 80% of the area median income, whichever applies. Apply through the local weatherization agency for the county — the Commerce page lists each county's agency.

Income eligibility uses the higher of three published percentage standards, and the local weatherization agency qualifies applicants and schedules work as funding allows — so this shows as a may-qualify result.

What you'll need
