Who it's for

Modoc Transportation Agency (Sage Stage) ADA complementary paratransit serves riders who, because of a disability, cannot use the regular fixed-route bus. Eligibility is established through an application and (often) an in-person functional assessment administered by the transit agency. Riders age 60 or older and riders with disabilities pay Sage Stage's discount fare on every route; ADA paratransit itself is a functional determination, not an age test. Dial-A-Ride is available within the Alturas service area; the rural intercity routes operate on a flag-down basis along the fixed corridor.
