How to apply for Citibus — Lubbock Public Transit (Senior Discount + CitiAccess Paratransit + OnDemand) in Texas
Citibus — the City of Lubbock's public transit operator; fixed-route bus + CitiAccess ADA paratransit + OnDemand demand-response service
Who it's for
Citibus is the City of Lubbock's public transit operator. It runs fixed-route buses, Citibus On-Demand rides ($2.00 to $10.00 per trip based on distance; book in the GoPass app or at 806-775-3640), and CitiAccess ADA paratransit for riders whose disability keeps them from using the fixed routes ($2.00, $5.00, or $10.00 per trip based on distance from a fixed route). Riders 65 and older, Medicare cardholders, and riders with disabilities can get a Special Efforts Card, which cuts a regular one-way fixed-route fare in half. The card cannot be used to buy day, weekly, or monthly passes. For service to South Plains College, call SPARTAN Transportation at 806-894-3800.
Citibus serves the City of Lubbock. The Special Efforts Card discount applies to single one-way fixed-route fares, not passes; CitiAccess paratransit requires ADA eligibility.
