Life changes and what-if questions
Benefits eligibility follows life events. The Life Events page asks a handful of questions about a change and shows what it does to the benefit picture.
- Open Dashboard → Life Events and pick the change — a birthday milestone, income change, new diagnosis, someone moving in, needing more care, or losing a spouse.
- Answer the short interview — five questions or fewer.
- See what's gained, lost, or changed, with dollar estimates.
Comparing counties before a move
Benefits don't move with you. The comparison tool shows exactly which programs a household would gain or lose moving between any two covered counties — with a dollar estimate — before any boxes get packed. Find it at Compare counties in the site menu.
