Run a free eligibility check

The eligibility check takes about five minutes. It asks basic questions — age, ZIP code, rough income — and compares the answers against official program rules for the covered states.

  1. Go to discoverseniorbenefits.com and select "Find my benefits".
  2. Enter age and ZIP code. The ZIP decides which state and county programs apply.
  3. Answer the money questions with rough numbers — "Roughly" means roughly. Exact figures are not needed.
  4. Answer the yes/no questions about Medicare, SNAP, housing, and health. "Not sure" is always an acceptable answer.
  5. Review the results. Every program links to its official source.

What is never asked

No Social Security number. No exact birth date — age only. No bank account numbers. No detailed medical history. The check works from rough figures and yes/no answers.

  • The check is free and anonymous — no account is needed to see results.
  • Answers can be changed later; the results update to match.

Not legal or financial advice. The agency makes the final eligibility decision.
