How to apply for Imperial Valley Transit (IVT) Senior Reduced Fare

Who it's for

Imperial Valley Transit (IVT) is the public fixed-route bus service for Imperial County, administered by the Imperial County Transportation Commission (ICTC). IVT operates 14 routes that move more than 55,000 passengers per month, serving El Centro, Calexico, Brawley, Imperial, Holtville, Calipatria, Westmorland, Niland, and the Salton Sea / west-end communities. Riders age 65 and older qualify for the senior reduced fare. Acceptable proof of eligibility typically includes a California DMV ID/license, Medicare card, or an agency-issued discount ID.
