Who it's for

Merced County's public transit system, branded 'The Bus' and operated by the Merced Transit Authority, lets seniors 62 and older — plus veterans and ADA-eligible riders — ride FREE on ALL services: fixed-route buses, Paratransit, Dial-A-Ride, and The Micro Bus. Seniors only need to show a government-issued ID displaying their date of birth. ADA-eligible riders can use an ADA Paratransit card or a Medicare card with a photo ID.
