How to apply for SJRTD Dial-A-Ride ADA Paratransit (San Joaquin County)

San Joaquin Regional Transit District (SJRTD)

Who it's for

Dial-A-Ride is SJRTD's ADA complementary paratransit service. You qualify if your disability prevents you from boarding, riding, or disembarking an accessible SJRTD bus without assistance (except for wheelchair-lift operators), or if a physical, mental, or vision impairment prevents you from traveling to or from a bus stop. Eligibility is functional, not age-based. To apply, call the Mobility Eligibility Center for an ADA Eligibility Assessment at 1-209-242-9965. Once certified, ride reservations are made by calling 1-209-943-1111 (option 2, option 2) at least one to two days in advance.

Dial-A-Ride eligibility is functional (disability that prevents independent use of SJRTD bus service) and is determined through an ADA Eligibility Assessment by the SJRTD Mobility Eligibility Center — the scan cannot perform that assessment. Start by calling 1-209-242-9965.
