How to apply for SJRTD Discount Fare Card — Senior (San Joaquin County)
San Joaquin Regional Transit District (SJRTD)
Who it's for
SJRTD's Discount Fare Card (DFC) gives qualifying riders up to half off the regular SJRTD bus fare in Stockton and around San Joaquin County. Seniors qualify at age 60 and older — an earlier age threshold than most other California transit operators (which usually start at 65). To apply, call the Mobility Eligibility Center at 1-209-242-9965, visit Access San Joaquin at the Customer Service Center, 421 East Weber Avenue, Stockton, CA 95202, or apply online at sanjoaquinrtd.com/access-sj/dfc/. Submit Part 1 of the application with a copy of an ID that supports your eligibility; you will be notified within 21 days whether the DFC has been approved.
