CountyOklahoma Human Services lists the Eastern Oklahoma Development District (EODD) as the interim organization running the Area Agency on Aging for Beaver County and the rest of northwest Oklahoma (Beaver, Cimarron, Dewey, Ellis, Harper, Texas, Woods and Woodward counties). The Area Agency on Aging helps people 60 and older and their caregivers find Older Americans Act services in the area. Beaver City Transit (Town of Beaver) — Beaver
CountyBeaver City Transit, run by the Town of Beaver, provides demand-response bus service open to the public within the Beaver city limits and up to a 10-mile radius of town. It also takes older adults to nutrition centers and nursing homes. Fares are $1.00 per ride within city limits and $5.00 per ride outside city limits (within the 10-mile radius); each time you get off and back on counts as a ride. Donations are accepted. The bus runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Call 580-625-3331 to schedule a ride.
