CountyMercy Hospital Watonga in Watonga is part of Mercy, which gives hospital and clinic financial assistance for medically necessary care based on household income and family size. Under Mercy's guidelines based on the 2026 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines, income from 0 - 200% of the poverty level gets a 100% hospital discount, and 201% - 300% gets an 80% hospital discount. CountyCherokee Strip Transit is a demand-response transportation system open to the public. The local Area Agency on Aging lists Cherokee Strip Transit as a provider of rides for people 60 and older to medical visits, senior meals, grocery shopping and errands.
