CountyMangum Regional Medical Center offers financial assistance, including charity, discounted care, and payment plans, to patients who cannot afford medically necessary care. Eligible patients are not charged more than amounts generally billed to insured patients. CountySouthwest Transit, run by Southwest Oklahoma Community Action Group (SOCAG), provides demand-response public transportation in Jackson, Harmon, and Greer counties. In Greer County, rides are available in Mangum (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and Granite (8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.), Monday through Friday. Rides between the towns of Altus, Hollis, Mangum, and Granite are limited. Southwest Transit is also a provider for Modivcare, which arranges rides to medical appointments for SoonerCare members. Call 580-482-5043 to ask about availability and fares.
